The Wild Bunch is set in Mexico during a revolution in 1913 and makes liberal use of a Browning 1917A1. Ya, I know, the 1917A1 wouldn't exist until the 1930s, but who cares, it's a belt-fed.

A bit of movie trivia: The 1917A1 tripod used in the Wild Bunch is now in the possession of Mark Genovese.
