The
photos on this page, with the exception of the last two, were provided by Ricardo
in Argentina, who owns an original Colt Commercial 1917, Model 1928. The Argentineans
manufactured their own 1928s under contract to Colt, but I am unclear whether
this is a Colt manufactured weapon, or Argentinean. The guns were identical,
and so the engraving might be identical as well. I am looking into this with
Dolf Goldsmith and will update this information when available. Note: On the
engraving, Ejercito Argentino means Argentine Army. |
